The feature profile isn't of a gold stock investor, more an amateur gold dealer - someone who buys and sells gold on eBay. But the tone of the opener, and the placement of the story in a regular MSM outlet, suggests that the American crowd is slowly moving in to gold. "Gold Boom: Wary of Markets, Retirement Savers Seek Hope in Gold" does give equal time to Jon Nadler, but it's not debunkative in thrust. There are the warnings of a bubble in gold bursting, which tend to pop up when bubbles get rolling.
Yes, it looks like the American public are becoming primed to go for gold in a big way. All that's lacking is a catalyst, such as inflation ramping up.
